I am Xi'an with very limited access to the internet. It was a very long day and a quarter of travelling - but we arrived safely and are adjusting to the other side of the planet. Bike rides along the ancient city walls and local cuisine. I am having my son transcribe this over Skype because we have no been able to access our blogs from here. We will be travelling to Beijing on Monday morning - and with some luck, communication will be more open then.

It Begins

6am Wednesday April 6th. Enjoying the sunrise over Boston Harbor as I await the first flight to Chicago. Boston in the early morning is peaceful. Beautiful.

This Blog will document my experiences in China in April of 2011. Career and Technical schools from Massachusetts are exploring exchanges with vocational schools in China through the support of the Freeman Foundation and opportunities created through the China Exchange Initiative in Newton MA.
